Frequently Asked Questions

  • How far in advance do I need to book for party hire?

    There is no limit but during busy periods such as the school holidays and Christmas, we do recommend booking as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. But even during busy periods, we can accommodate bookings with 6 weeks' notice. 

  • What time can you deliver?

    We start deliveries at 8 am and our last pick-up is at 8 pm. 

    If your event is due to run later than 8 pm you will be subject to an overnight charge. 

    We can arrange delivery or collection of furniture, tableware and party equipment between these times. 

  • Can you deliver and collect equipment on the same day?

    Yes, for short events we can arrange collection and delivery on the same day. 

    However, the event must be finished and equipment ready for collection by 8pm to qualify for same-day collection. 

  • How long can I hire equipment for?

    We have a minimum 6-hour charge for furniture, tableware, and associated party equipment, but you can hire equipment for as long as you need it. 

    Give us a call and let us know more about your event and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. 

  • Do you charge extra for hiring equipment overnight?

    Yes, we hire equipment overnight. The cost varies depending on the type of equipment you hire. 

    For overnight events, we typically arrange collections after 12 pm the following day. 

    This gives you plenty of time to clean up and get everything ready. 

  • Do I have to wash glassware/crockery before returning?

    Yes, we ask that all glassware, tableware, and cutlery are washed before returning it to us. 

    If you are unable to wash items before returning please let us know and we can arrange this for you at an extra cost.

  • Can I choose the songs on the jukebox?

    Yes, no problem, we can program the jukebox to play all your favorites. 

    Just let us know what songs you would like on the playlist and we’ll arrange it for you. 

    There is no extra charge for this service.

  • Do you set up the furniture and dancefloor etc?

    Our service is flexible, so we can set up the furniture, tableware, and dancefloor for you. 

    Alternatively, we can deliver the items for you to set up. 

    The price will depend on the services you require and the size of the event.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    There is no charge for bookings cancelled 30 days before the event. 

    Events cancelled between 7 and 30 days before the event are charged 50% of the booking fee. 

    Events cancelled within 7 days are charged the full booking fee. 

  • Does the hire charge include gas and electric?

    Equipment that is powered by gas such as heaters and barbecues is supplied with a propane gas bottle. 

    You will be supplied with enough gas to last for the duration of your event. 

    You are responsible for paying for the electricity.
